Our space is available in different periods of the year and our offer varies depending on the season. Read more to understand the differences between the two seasons.
SUMMER
Werkstatt is a part of Reffen – Copenhagen Street Food during the summer season from March to September. The festive atmosphere from Reffen continues inside Klub Werkstatt, where we host DJs and night club every Friday and Saturday. The biggest strength of Werkstatt during the summer season is Reffen. During the summer, your event can become a part of Reffen. As a participant, you can enjoy the buzzing atmosphere and explore street food from the 32 food stalls while you can move inside Werkstatt, when you need peace, quiet and a space to focus.
WINTER
During the winter season, Reffen – Copenhagen Street Food is closed. Werkstatt is available as an entirely empty space ready to be filled with creative, wild and daring setups. Our space is incredibly flexible and it is entirely up to you, how you want to use the 1.000 square meters. Werkstatt can host the demanding and specially designed setups that take months of planning. The whole area is yours to use and the room is available before, during and after the event with plenty of time to set up and disassemble. The winter season runs from October until March.
CHRISTMAS IN WERKSTATT
In November and December, Santa has his workshop set up in Werkstatt and invites to festive Christmas parties on Fridays and Saturdays. We have space for groups of all shapes and sizes (from 8 to 400 people). We are hosting Christmas parties that make your jingle bells rock under the mistletoe and everything is spiced with food, DJs, entertainment, music, snaps and night club.

WITH BUS & METRO
From the central station: Take bus 2A from Central Station to Refshaleøen. The trip takes 27 minutes and requires no changes.
From Nørreport: Grab the metro M1/M2 towards Vestamager/Lufthavnen. Change to bus 2A at Christianshavns Torn. The trip takes approximately 24 minutes.
From Copenhagen Airport: Get the metro M2 towards Vanløse. Change to bus 2A at Christianshavns Torv. The trip takes approximately 24 minutes.

BY BIKE
It takes approximately 10 minutes by bike to reach Werkstatt from Kgs. Nytorv. A lovely bike ride that takes you past the many beautiful sights of Copenhagen via the Inner Harbour Bridge and through Holmen.
WITH THE HARBOUR BUS
The Harbour Bus 991 and 992 sail regularly to Refshaleøen from Teglholmen and Orientkaj via the city center with several stops at Islands Brygge, Nyhavn and Nordre Toldbod among others. It takes 5 minutes to walk from the Harbour Bus stop at Refshaleøen to Werkstatt.
BY CAR
Are you arriving by car? You can get to Werkstatt in 15-20 minutes from the following:
Central Station via Amager: 6.6 km
Copenhagen Airport via Amager Strandvej: 8.3 km
Kongens Nytorv via Christianshavn: 6.1 km
Nørreport via Amager: 7.1 km

BY FOOT
Werkstatt is centrally located at Refshaleøen with Reffen – Copenhagen Street Food as its backyard.
Are you by foot from Nyhavn? You will cross the Inner Harbour Bridge with a view of the many beautiful sights in Copenhagen. The walk takes you right past Papirøen, The Copenhagen Opera House with a view to The Playhouse, Frederiksstaden and past Holmen and the many cosy houseboats.
PRIVATE TRANSPORT
Are you a larger group that wants to arrive all together? We can help you arrange a bus that takes you directly to Werkatt and pick up your group after the event.
